Argument Essay - How to Write a Simple Argument Essay

Argument Essay - How to Write a Simple Argument EssayThe purpose of an argument essay is to discuss the topic of a given essay. These topics are usually argued in one or more panels where your points are provided to your class. This section also is known as the defense section or simply as the defense panel. During this part of the classroom discussion, you as the writer must create a strong argument, support that argument with evidence and make the point well. One of the most common topics, you will find essays on are world problems, the causes and the effects of any and all wars, the ways to eliminate poverty and change the lives of people who suffer from it, and how to resolve problems and issues of the world. These topics are controversial and many will argue the points made in the essays and submit them for peer review. You may be asked to write on other topics such as global warming, global security, the need for world peace, and whether or not a man should rule the world. Many states an essay or debate to be a discourse of thought or is an argumentative essay. No matter what type of essay you write you must write it with great attention to detail.Arguments are built upon information presented and arguments are built on facts or details. This makes it very important to think before writing your essay. After you have thought about your topic, you must check your facts and highlight those parts that you are sure will sway the class. You must write to convince the other students in your class and impress them with your writing abilities.Writing long sentences is considered poor writing because it will make it hard for you to convince anyone in your class. You must also make sure that you are using the right word choices when you use your writing style. You should use articles and paragraphs that make sense and have the proper vocabulary. The more words used the more persuasive your essay will be.Arguments can be madeby either pointing out facts or points to m ake a point. By presenting one argument it is easy to make more in future papers and essay because you can re-word what you've written and add your own research and facts to provide more impact to your argument. This is important if you are a strong argument writer and you know how to prove your point.Although you are the writer and must decide what to write about, you need to make sure that you do not overuse facts and/or facts and words. Always start your essay with a solid premise and the support you're giving to your premise. So now you know how to write a simple essay and how to make your point. Keep this in mind, in the event that you think your topic is far too complex to be put in an essay, then don't get so worked up about the essay. Write a smaller paragraph to support the point you are making and add a few facts about your subject.
